One Pot Ground Beef Recipes

Often our busy lives interfere with our ability to create healthy
meals for fat loss, but sometimes we just think we don’t have
time to create healthy homemade meals. Taking a simple
ingredient like ground beef provides us with a wealth of healthy
recipes that can be made easily, quickly or even in one pot.

When it comes to ground beef recipes it’s important to look beyond your basic chili and burgers. There are many other ways—that include vegetables—that you can get your beef fix without adding cheese, bread or high calorie condiments. One pot recipes in particular are a great way to eat good without spending all evening in the kitchen.


  • 1 lb. lean ground beef

  • 1 garlic cloves, chopped

Finding lower calorie or lower fat recipes is something we all could use, particularly when it comes to alcoholic drinks. Those big beautiful drinks served at your favorite restaurant are a calorie and fat minefield, sometimes with as much as 600 calories per glass! Wouldn’t it be great if you could find a skinny version of some of the most popular drinks?

Yeah, we thought so too which is why we’ve created this skinny margarita recipe. The key to skinny cocktail recipes is serving size and ingredient list. If you can keep both of these on the low end you can enjoy cocktail hour without regretting it tomorrow. Whether you like your margaritas frozen or on the rocks, this is one recipe you’re sure to enjoy!


  • 1 ¼ oz. tequila

  • ¾ oz. triple sec

  • ½ cup ice cubes

Low Carb Spinach Pancake Recipe – So Tasty!

Fat loss would be much easier if we could find a way to get more fruits or vegetables into breakfast as well as other meals. Fat burning foods like spinach no longer have to be relegated to lunch and dinner with this unique and healthy low carb pancake recipe.

Instead of loading your pancake with butter and sugar syrup, enjoy a few slices of turkey bacon with this savory spinach pancake. This is one pancake that will leave you feeling energized and not the least bit guilty. Just make sure you thaw your spinach the night before, in fact mix up the batter and leave it in the fridge so all you need to do is pour coming morning!


  • 1 tbsp. flour 

  • 3 eggs, beaten

  • 4 tbsp. cottage cheese

  • 1 tsp. salt & pepper

  • 2 tbsp. butter

  • 2 (10 oz.) packages frozen spinach, chopped

  • 3 tbsp. bread crumbs (plain or Italian)

High Protein Slow Cooker Recipes - Pork Roast

It’s no secret that finding time to make healthy, high protein meals can be a task. But with an investment in a key piece of kitchen equipment you can make even the most complicated dishes while you work! A slow cooker allows you to cook a wide variety of dishes from soups to chili and roasts over a very low heat for a few hours so when you arrive home tired and famished…dinner is waiting for you!

Just remember if you need a high protein recipe you need to choose the right cut of meat, such as this boneless pork roast like this recipe. The key for the right kind of high protein is to keep the skin and fat as trimmed as possible. Since this recipe is easy and doesn’t require a lot of maintenance, add brown rice, potatoes, sweet potatoes and/or steamed vegetables for a well balanced meal.


  • 5 lbs. boneless pork roast

  • 1 tsp. sage leaves

  • ½ cup water

  • 6 garlic cloves, chopped

  • 1 tsp. sea salt

  • 1 tsp. ground white pepper

  • ½ tsp. ground cloves

Sometimes the dishes that seem the most complicated can actually be the easiest to make, such as stuffed peppers. The next time you’re in the mood for stuffed peppers, think about what you want inside and start there. Whether you want a meat or vegetarian dish, figuring out what’s on the inside is the hardest part.

Once you’ve made the tough decision, all you have to do is decide what type of flavor you want and that will help you determine what type of peppers to get. Bell peppers come in a wide variety of colors, but red, green, yellow and orange are the most widely available. Not sure which color to get? Take a sniff and see how they smell and let your nose decide.

Healthy Lemon Mustard Tilapia Recipes

Healthy Lemon Poppy Waffle Recipe

When it comes to breakfast most of us are either pancake people or waffle people. The problem for both types of people is that traditional pancakes and waffles don’t do much to help you lose weight…until now. The truth is that the best way to maintain your fat loss efforts and enjoy breakfast is to experiment with different waffle recipes until you find one that meets all of your weight and taste criteria.

One trick that I use when creating healthy versions of less than healthy dishes like waffles is to find a way to minimize or eliminate my need for sugary add-ons like syrup. This lemon and poppy seed waffle recipe has flavor cooked right into the waffle so syrup is pretty much unnecessary. If you do need to add something sweet, consider fresh berries.


  • 2 cups healthy baking mix (such as Buckwheat & Flax from The Pure Pantry)
